The Role

Reporting into our Talent team lead, you will evolve Tibra’s software components and frameworks to allow the Talent team to operate efficiently and at scale. This role demands an independent developer who is excited by ambitious automation targets that demand fast and effective solutions, both front and backend. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Keeping abreast of industry and technology best practice
  • Following internal procedures covering all aspects of software development
  • Assisting with the triage, reporting and resolution of issues
  • Estimation, planning + time management for all tasks and projects
  • Regular communication with internal stakeholders and third parties
  • Developing, maintaining and customising Talent’s automated recruitment and training systems

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Maths, Engineering (or similar)
  • 2+ years of experience with Software Engineering practices and Software Development lifecycles
  • Proficient in Python
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Logical/analytical thinker
  • Experience presenting complex datasets intuitively and simply

Desired Skills

  • Basic understanding of probability/statistics
  • HRIS experience
  • Linux/Bash
  • Docker
  • Microsoft PowerBI
  • Atlassian systems (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Crucible, etc.)
  • SQL
  • Contemporary web development frameworks (Vue, Angular, React/Redux, etc.)
  • Strong web fundamentals (CSS and HTML)
  • Javascript or TypeScript
